活動介紹

三星電子自2011年便策略性的投入毫米波技術的研發，並成功的在5G時代透過毫米波技術的先發優勢在北美的電信網路市場獲得突破，這仰賴的是長期且持續的在新技術的研究與標準化工作的投入。隨著5G的商用順利開展，三星電子也啟動了B5G及6G的研發工作，主辦單位特別邀請到了三星電子的技術副總(Dr. Younsun Kim)向大家介紹其最新的技術觀點。

講師資訊

Younsun Kim

Younsun Kim received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering from Yonsei University, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, in 1996, 1999, and 2009, respectively. He joined Samsung Electronics in 1999 and has since worked on the physical layer standardization of cdma2000, HRPD, LTE, and recently NR. Currently, he is a technical VP in Samsung in charge of the physical layer standardization for LTE and NR. Since 2017, he has been serving as the vice-chairman of 3GPP RAN1(physical layer) working group.
