Dr. Xiang “Steven” Chen
|
Dr.
Xiang “Steven” Chen is Senior Standards Expert at Huawei and the head of
Huawei RAN WG4 delegation. He has made significant contributions to
standardization of both LTE and NR in 3GPP RAN4 over the past 10+ years. He
was RAN4 vice chair during 2011-2015. He currently serve as the editor of NR
BS conformance testing specifications, i.e. TS 38.141-1/2. He is the winner
of the LTE NA 2011 “Best Contribution to LTE Standards” Award.
Previously,
he worked with Motorola Research Labs in Schaumburg, IL, USA and Bell Labs,
Lucent Technologies in Beijing, China.
Steven
received his BSEE and MSEE from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai,
China and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of
Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA. He has published 2 book chapters and 20
journal and conference papers.
