5G-Advanced & 6G Technology Workshop

With the advances of 5G and 6G technology developments, Taiwan Association of Information and Communication Standards (TAICS) will host a 5G-Advanced & 6G Technology Workshop on June 9 and June 19, 2023. During this workshop, we invite technical experts from Qualcomm, Ericsson, Apple, Intel & InterDigital to discuss state-of-the-art technology on mobile communications and share the new trends of global standards, including 5G-Advanced standardization and 6G vision. Join us and gain first-hand information from experts! We are looking forward to seeing you at this workshop.

Kyeongin Jeong
	•Principal engineer in Samsung, Email: kyeongin.j@samsung.com • Have been working in 3GPP RAN2 since 2002 •  Have standards and research experience in various technical areas that cross releases and generations (UMTS to NR) •Worked as NR specification rapporteur (TS.38.306) • Working as session chair for LTE V2X, NR SL, NR SL enhancement/evolution since Rel-15
Diana Pani - InterDigital
	•Diana Pani is Vice President of Wireless Standards at InterDigital, where she is responsible for leading the development of 5G-Advanced technologies and standardization for 3GPP RAN/SA/CT.   With nearly 20 years of experience in the wireless industry she has contributed to the research, design and development across three generations of wireless technologies, 3G, 4G and 5G.   •She has actively contributed to 3GPP standards since 2008, was RAN2 Vice chair from 2013-2017, and has continued chairing RAN2 5G sessions since.  She chaired the first release of RAN2 5G NR User plane and continues chairing 5G RAN2 sessions in 3GPP for Rel-18.   Diana is also a candidate for the upcoming RAN2 Chair elections.
