The primary focus of TC2 is industrial technology for the system integration of the heterogeneous 5G network. This includes the cross-network communications of the next generation heterogenous networks (5G, 4G, LAN), auto-configuration and performance optimization of networks systems, separation of the network control and transmission layers, and network interoperability testing technology.

The purpose of this Technical Committee is: To explore heterogeneous 5G network communications technologies, establish technical regulations for cross-network integration, participate in international communication network industry organization activities, and provide technical contributions.
